June 2019 was an amazing experience for my Iridology Student (Equine and Animal Natural Healing Touch Practitioner) and myself joining the Eyology Congress at Joaquina Beach, in Florianópolis, SC, in the south of Brazil.Mary Carey was born in Zambia (Northern Rhodesia) in 1952 and has been involved with animals all her life. Her father, Dickie Dickinson, was a Natural Animal Healer and she was brought up with domestic and wild animals; owls, warthogs, birds, cats, dogs, horses, and mice, to name a few.Iridology has been around for many years, and Dr. Ignacz Von Preezely began the human iridology in the early 1800s and in 1950 Dr. Bernard Jenson was given the title of “Father of Iridology” and since 1994 Veterinarian Dr. D. Eckerdt and Mercedes Colburn began the animal iridology.
